I am delighted to extend a warm welcome as the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for the Prime West Consortium (PWC). It is with great excitement and anticipation that I embarked on this journey with the PWC, dedicated to advancing medical education and patient care within Prime Healthcare’s Hospitals in California and Nevada.
The Prime West Consortium is a symbol of Prime Healthcare’s commitment to excellence in healthcare, education, and research. Alongside our academic affiliate, California University of Science and Medicine, the consortium will provide a community program atmosphere with university-level academic support, nurturing the growth and development of our future physicians.
One of PWC’s foremost goals is to address the critical issue of physician shortage in California. Through innovative strategies and collaborative efforts, we are determined to make a lasting impact on healthcare delivery in our communities. Moreover, we aspire to expand Graduate Medical Education (GME) opportunities, creating an environment where aspiring medical professionals can flourish and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of medicine and the well-being of our patients.
